Hi, we're June & Walter — third-generation innkeepers. We bought this creaky mountain house in 1987 with 4 rooms and a wood stove. Today it's 8 design suites, a big barn kitchen, and the same promise: you will sleep better here than anywhere else.
No check-in desk. No plastic. Just fresh linen, sourdough at 8am, trails from your door, and Walter's famous pancakes with spruce-tip syrup. We host max 16 guests — so it never feels crowded. Come for one night, stay for the week. Most do.
All suites have king beds, organic linen, rain showers, Nespresso + French press, and blackout curtains. No TVs — we give you binoculars, books and a record player instead.

We love them, but the house is quiet-focused 12+. Dogs are welcome in Orchard Cottage only ($45 fee). Kids under 12 in Cottage & Bunkhouse on request.
